Current Rates:

STAGE 1:

Aircraft & Pilot: $130.00 an hour plus 6% sales tax.

For example, if it takes 20 minutes to fly to the destination where an aerial shoot is to be conducted, takes 20 minutes to take the pictures and 20 minutes to return back to our destination, the aircraft and pilot charge would be $130.00 plus tax. The average shoot is about one hour.

STAGE 2:

Film & Developing: Prices Vary (Film & Digital Available)

This rate will depend on the type of film being used and how many pictures we will need to take. It will also change depending on whether it is film based, digital or video. Digital enhanced pictures tend to run less then film based products. In regards to film base, we typically use Nikon N series cameras, with a zoom range between 25mm and 450mm. Using a 450 mm zoom lens, we can capture images at 3,000 feet that appear to be taken from the next door yard!

The actual film can be anywhere between 100 speed and 1600 speed. It can be color or black and white. We typically use Kodak film products.

The average film based price, including all negatives for a photo shoot consisting of 36 pictures is around $40.00 plus 6% tax. This includes development of 4 X 6 inch double prints. If the client wishes to have pictures enlarged there is an additional charge, usually spanning only several dollars per print. Or the client can enlarge the photographs on their own.

STAGE 3:

Portfolio Construction:

This is the final process of the aerial contract. Here we take the images and put them together for our clients in well organized fashion. All pictures come in a binder in chronological order with longitude and latitude readings printed on the back of each image. On the front of an image, the date and time can also be stamped with the time the pictures were taken and not developed! The total cost of stage 3 is 20% of stage 1 minus the sales tax. After the pictures are developed, we schedule a meeting with our clients, prior to payment, to ensure the images captured are acceptable. We offer 100% satisfaction.....guaranteed!!

STAGE 4:

Total Package Price:

Now lets take the above three stages and figure out a total package price for an aerial surveillance shoot. First we are figuring that the total flight time logged was one (1) hour. That equals $130.00 (plus 6% tax). Second is the development stage, in this case $40.00. Third is the portfolio construction totaling $24.00. We now add those three stages together and come up with a total package price of $194.00 plus tax. Keep in mind that this is an estimate and each photo shoot is different.

The NEAC gives our clients a written estimate of all photo flights at no cost to our clients. Just simply email us at info@theneac.com with the request to schedule an appointment.

Below, we are planning on providing a detailed geographical map showing you the expected amount of aircraft/pilot time to specific destinations in the Northeast United States. This map will be arriving soon! Since we are centrally located in Connecticut, most destinations are reached (within state) and back in under ninety minutes!
